The first glimpse at their upcoming debut album.
Berlin-based duo Brigade has just unveiled its latest single with the drop of ‘International Communication™’. The new recording is already available to stream and purchase across all major digital platforms via Laut und Luise.
Following on from the more dancefloor-oriented tones of their six-part ‘Comeback’ EP, ‘International Communication™’ is the first insight into Brigade’s incoming ‘Hard Times, Soft Music’ debut LP, which is scheduled for release on October 14th. The new cut finds the artist knee-deep in dreamy and complex textures that unfurl over minimalistic arrangements and an interstellar groove that drives the narrative.
“We took the pandemic as a cue to take a break from dancefloor productions and play around with different genres and production styles. The first single ‘International Communication™’ showcases that breadth and introduces an album that pretty much anyone in the post-Shrek cultural landscape could agree on. Basically, if you appreciate a good hug, chances are you’ll enjoy this LP. Also, there’s a pretty cute dog on the cover,” says Brigade about the forthcoming album.
