Chris Liebing returns to his own CLR imprint with ‘Phantom Rider’, a two-track EP. The release has already garnered support from Daniel Avery, GiGi FM, and Jon Hester.
‘Kaizen’ features powerful percussion, deep basslines, and an energetic rhythm designed for peak dancefloor moments. The second track, ‘Wailer’, combines raw rhythmic elements with classic acid sounds from the Roland TB-303, delivering a powerful techno statement. These new tracks build on Liebing’s recent success with his remix of Emmanuel Top’s ‘Turkish Bazar’, which reached #1 on Beatport’s Techno charts in early 2025.
CLR—short for Create Learn Repeat—was launched by Liebing in 1999 and relaunched in 2021. The label has hosted releases from Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Bjarki, and Risa Taniguchi, continuing its mission to spotlight both established artists and emerging techno talent.
