Driven by a rubbery bassline and twisted vocal chops, the track taps into the tech-funk minimalism that has shaped VonStroke’s sound since moving beyond his Dirtybird era. ‘Bobblehead’ follows standout sets at CRSSD, Splash House, Club Space, and Outside Lands, reaffirming his presence across both festival stages and underground rooms.
Marking his first release since ‘Metropolitan’, the single signals a renewed focus in the studio ahead of a full-length album due in January.
Since stepping down from Dirtybird in 2022, Claude VonStroke has embraced a more selective approach, favoring intimate shows and curated open-air gatherings. His legacy continues to resonate in U.S. tech house, having championed early releases from Fisher, John Summit, and Eats Everything.
