Davestorm has released his latest work, ‘Flashback,’ marking the inaugural EP on Replicate Records, a fresh label initiative from techno collective The Yellow Heads.
The title track features organic kick drums and driving bass alongside precise acidic tones and glitchy vocals for a futuristic feel. Detailed percussion and layered textures create a compelling narrative that works in both intimate listening sessions and club environments.
Closing the EP, ‘When I Saw You Again’ showcases Davestorm’s versatility, blending atmospheric elements with powerful rhythms. Built on a robust kick and rolling bass, the track incorporates precise acid elements for added texture. Its distinctive vocal treatment creates emotional depth, while metallic stabs generate tension between hypnotic repetition and forceful impact.
