Composer, DJ, and producer Kate Simko returns alongside her London Electronic Orchestra with their latest single, ‘Center of Attention’, out now.
Known for their fusion of classical instrumentation with intricate electronic production, the ensemble features musicians from the Royal College of Music, with harpist Valeria Clarke, violinist Kamila Bydlowska, and cellist Zara Hudson. The new track introduces haunting vocals from Voytek Korab of My Favorite Robot, building into a cinematic composition that balances elegance with emotional intensity.
Filmed at London’s Royal Opera House, the official music video features a solo performance by Royal Ballet’s Marianna Tsembenhoi, choreographed by Hannah Grennell, further highlighting the track’s dramatic tension.
‘Center of Attention’ follows the recent release of ‘Masquerade’ and marks Kate Simko & London Electronic Orchestra’s first recorded music in nearly a decade. The ensemble, formed to explore the intersection of orchestral beauty and electronic spontaneity, has performed at venues worldwide including the Royal Albert Hall, Roundhouse, and National Gallery, as well as festivals such as Bestival, WOMAD, and Wonderfruit.
