MarMar, known for blending American and French influences, has unveiled his latest single ‘Missing Me,’ which follows his previous release ‘Sobers Me.’ The track offers a preview of his upcoming EP.
The production combines UK garage and future-house elements to create a fresh sonic landscape. ‘Missing Me’ emerged from an organic creative process, centered on a vocal sample that became the emotional heart of the track. With pulsating rhythms and atmospheric synths, the track delivers an intimate yet euphoric sonic experience.
Discussing the creative process, MarMar reveals the personal significance behind the track: “This song came together while experimenting with a vocal sample. Despite the melancholic lyrics, the vibe is uplifting, reminding me of sunshine, the ocean, and carefree days. It’s about longing for someone in the best way possible—because you love them so much and hope they feel the same.”
