Mikey Lion has released a new track titled ‘License To Groove’, drawing inspiration from the classic GoldenEye 007 video game. The single is now available via Desert Hearts Records.
A tribute to his childhood spent gaming on the Nintendo 64, ‘License To Groove’ sees the Desert Hearts founder channeling playful nostalgia into a dance floor-ready cut. Sampling sounds from the iconic first-person shooter, the track blends tech-driven beats with a touch of retro flair.
“This one is pure nostalgia,” Mikey shared. “If you spent your after-school hours with a wired controller in hand, you’ll feel this immediately.”
The single arrives as part of his continued mission to unite house, techno, and community under the Desert Hearts ethos.
