A nice surprise for the German’s fans.
Nils Frahm just dropped a new EP titled ‘Encores 1‘ via Erased Tapes.
The music included in the five-track release was part of the package originally created for his latest album ‘All Melody’. The Berlin-based musician only used twelve of the sixty musical sketches, so he decided to release them separately.
“The idea behind Encores is the one that we had before releasing ‘All Melody’; to do three EPs each with their own distinct musical style and theme, perhaps even as a triple album. But ‘All Melody’ became larger than itself and took over any initial concepts”, Frahn commented.
