Hungarian producer NorB and Toronto-based multi-talent juSt b have shared their first collaborative effort, their ‘Different Places’ EP. The new record is already available to stream and purchase via John Digweed’s iconic Bedrock Records.
Delivering a powerful 3-tracker in ‘Different Places’, NorB & juSt b dive deep in the titular cut with personal lyrics, ‘representing the transition from a place of darkness to a rather hopeful position’ as they imagine a contemporary vein of techno; and navigate through iridescent arpeggiated synth riff and vocal chops on ‘Close Your Eyes’. The package is rounded off by an instrumental rendition of ‘Different Places’.
