Novablood has unveiled their latest single, ‘Bring Your Love,’ marking the second release from their upcoming album, ‘Destroy the Magic’. Available now through Old World New World, this single is accompanied by a music video.
The video for ‘Bring Your Love’ was filmed at Carlisle’s Thin White Duke—a tribute to David Bowie—by Andrew Newlands. The goal was to create a simple performance video with warm visuals that enhance the track’s ambiance.
As visitors approach Carlisle’s Thin White Duke bar, the synth and octobass vocals of ‘Bring Your Love’ draw them in. In the basement, Paul Newton’s bassline envelops them, with shakers and hi-hats adding layers. The production’s depth and precision shine through, and the lyrics express a lover’s longing for attention in a chaotic world.
Mark Zowie shares, “Sometimes, as either a writer or a producer, you’re not particularly inspired by anything yet driven to just create something. I had a fun bet with a friend that I could write a song where the chorus hit within 50 seconds. As a lover of strong choruses, ‘Bring Your Love’ was born around the bassline and the simple chorus line. It all came together so succinctly. We love performing this one live.”
