Brazilian artist Pedro Bertho has released his latest EP, ‘Sola’, through his newly founded imprint, Chez Pedro.

The two-track offering channels Bertho’s dedication to cross-cultural musical exchange and club-ready energy, blending influences from his time in Colombia and the Ivory Coast with Caribbean grooves and dembow-inspired rhythms.

Featuring the tracks ‘Dembow à Babi’ and ‘Rinze’, the EP draws on vibrant percussive structures rooted in reggaeton and global club music. Both cuts have already become highlights in his recent DJ sets.

With over 40 releases in the past four years on labels such as Cracki, Hell Yeah Records, Fauve Records, and José Records, Bertho has carved out a name for himself in the international electronic music scene. His two-year residency at Le Sucre in Lyon further cemented his presence in the European circuit.

Beyond production, Bertho is also known for his community-focused efforts. He leads a DJ and music production training initiative aimed at underrepresented groups, including women and LGBTQIA+ individuals, having worked with over 300 participants across France, Brazil, Colombia, and the Ivory Coast.

Chez Pedro, his new label, marks a space for Bertho to explore full creative freedom – from high-energy club tracks to more experimental works.
