Sammy Virji has released his second full-length album, ‘Same Day Cleaning’, out now via Astralwerks. The 16-track LP showcases a bold fusion of UKG, grime, and club-focused production, packed with collaborations from key voices across UK dance culture.
The record opens with ‘One For The Books’ featuring Giggs, setting the tone for a project rooted in underground foundations and modern momentum. Collaborations span the legendary MJ Cole on ‘Doctor’, Skepta on streaming hit ‘Cops & Robbers’, and house mainstay Chris Lake on ‘925’. Other standout cuts include ‘Match My Mood’ with Spice and Flowdan, ‘Up & Down’ with Tuff Jam, and tracks with Champion, IRAH, Unknown T, Issey Cross, salute, and 33 Below.
Following standout appearances at Coachella, Forest Hills Stadium, and festivals like Movement Detroit, Lightning in a Bottle, Pukkelpop, and All Points East, Virji’s rise has continued into a sold-out, two-night hometown run at London’s Alexandra Palace this April.
