Argentine DJ and producer Santi Mossman returns to the spotlight with ‘Crossing Souls’, his long-awaited debut on Melorama Música.
After some time away from the public eye, Mossman began releasing music again in late 2024 with renewed energy, and ‘Crossing Souls’ is a clear example of this new chapter.
Speaking about the emotions behind the release, Santi shares: “The EP has two sides. On one hand, ‘Crossing Souls’ carries a very personal meaning, as it was a gift to my partner during a difficult moment, giving it special significance for me. On the other hand, there’s ‘Exitz’, a darker track that represents me a bit more because it reflects the sounds I tend to identify with when I’m making music.”
Reflecting on the process that brought the record to life, the Argentine artist recalls: “I had been sharing music with Ezequiel (Arias) for a while, so when he heard ‘Crossing Souls’, he was interested in releasing it on the label and asked me to hold onto it until we found the right companion. The day I sent him ‘Exitz’, he said: ‘That’s the one,’ and from there we started the conversations. With the support of Nacho Varela, Cruz Vittor, and Simon Mamy, we were able to wrap up the EP.”
