Brazilian DJ and producer Vinter has unveiled his latest single, ‘Space Pump’, on Nervous Records. Inspired by the 1996 film Space Jam and its soundtrack, the track has quickly found its way into international sets and playlists.
Originally conceived during a spontaneous studio session and not intended for release, ‘Space Pump’ samples elements from the movie’s theme song. After Vinter shared early clips online, it drew strong reactions from DJs worldwide, leading to its signing on Nervous Records.
Supported by names including Mau P, Camelphat, Jamie Jones, Something Else, Seth Troxler, Wade, Adam Ten, Mita Gami, Ilario Alicante, Vintage Culture, and Carlita, the track has been played across a wide range of dancefloors, resonating with both house and techno audiences.
“Most of my music comes from sessions without pressure or big expectations,” Vinter said. “This one was no different, but the response was overwhelming. It shows that sometimes the most honest ideas connect the most.”
