Brazilian artist Unfazed has teamed up with global dance icon David Guetta for a remix of ‘A Gira’, out now on Spinnin’ Deep. The rework delivers a melodic techno interpretation of the original Afro House hit.
Originally released in January, ‘A Gira’ quickly found international traction, climbing to the top of the Beatport chart and generating nearly 20 million streams. Its blend of Brazilian vocals, spiritual textures, and organic percussion connected with global audiences.
Guetta’s remix introduces expansive synths, deeper rhythmic layering, and a cinematic build-up that preserves the emotional weight of the original while broadening its dancefloor impact. The collaboration marks a major milestone for Unfazed.
“The idea for ‘A Gira’ came from my uncle, who has always been passionate about this song,” says Unfazed. “It carries a very special meaning for me, both for its religious connection and my family’s history.”
