WhoMadeWho and Kölsch have collaborated on ‘Heartless,’ the final single preceding the band’s upcoming album, ‘Kiss & Forget.’
Set for release on September 13th via WhoMadeWho’s imprint The Moment, ‘Kiss & Forget’ promises to be a career milestone. ‘Heartless’ concludes a series of notable singles, featuring collaborations with Adriatique, RY X, and Blue Hawaii.
‘Heartless’ begins with Kölsch’s trademark powerful yet calming kick and distinctive synth stabs, gradually intensifying over its four-minute duration. The result is an emotional journey that seamlessly blends WhoMadeWho’s genre-defying style with Kölsch’s melodic techno production.
Expressing their enthusiasm for the collaboration, WhoMadeWho shared, “Making music with Danish techno legend Kölsch was so easy. Sometimes music is hard to make and takes years to finish. This one was easy and fun, and we are super excited about the result!”
“After 25 years of friendship, I’m excited that the moment was right for us to collaborate. It seems as if it was destined when we started working on ‘Heartless’. The song and production came together so effortlessly as if two parts had been apart. I’m super proud of the end result, and can’t wait to share it with the world,” Kölsch added.
