Berlin-based artist, Yulia Niko, has launched her new album ‘TWINSOUL’, now accessible on Armada Music.
‘TWINSOUL’ marks a significant milestone in Niko’s career, reflecting her optimistic perspective and belief in music’s power. This album, a tribute to her father, narrates a real-life story through the use of real instruments and original vocals. The standout track, ‘Satisfaction,’ offers a captivating rhythm and lush ambiance.
Niko’s musical journey began at fifteen after a car accident resulted in a two-month hospitalization. During this time, she cultivated a love for diverse music genres, which quickly led to her debut performance a year later. In her twenties, she relocated to New York to study music production, immersing herself in house music. In a Brooklyn studio, she honed her sound, drawing inspiration from classic Detroit and Chicago producers, and fusing deep house, techno, and progressive genres.
Niko confidently states, “I am moving at my own pace, consistently working towards my goals. I’m following no one’s schedule but my own.”
