London’s Field Day returns this weekend

Two days of open-air music and fun.

London’s Field Day returns this weekend and takes up residence in its new home at Brixton’s Brockwell Park. With six individual stages, hosted by the likes of Eat Your Own Ears, Bugged Out, Resident Advisor, and The Hydra, organizers have gone the extra mile this year to ensure a stellar line up to suit different tastes.

The Hydra’s listing particularly stands out, with live sets from both Four Tet and Floating Points, together with Daphni, Nils Frahm and Willow who are all set to play during Saturday in The Barn: A gigantic hangar-like construction with a state of the art high-powered sound system and technologically advanced lighting.

RA’s offering leans in a little harder on the musical front with Daniel Avery and Helena Hauff billed to take you through until closing. Elsewhere, Bugged Out welcomes Gilles Peterson and Moscomann in what promises to be another sun-filled London weekend.

Gates opened today at 13:00, Friday 1st June and again at 11:30 on Saturday 2nd June. Last entrance to the festival is at 19:30.
