Lost On You to open school in Sierra Leone

Tending to 207 children, 5 days a week.

The Lost On You label has announced that their plans to build a school in Sierra Leone are coming to life, with the primary school opening its doors for the first time on the 6th of September, 2021.

The school is located in Bath-Sint, a community in Lokomasama, Port Loko, Sierra Leone, where 207 children will get the opportunity to receive basic education.

Lost On You is well known for being the first electronic record label that donates 100% of the proceeds from music sales to aid children in the poorest part of the world, having already collaborated with organizations such as Against Malaria, Street Child, Plan International, and Utopia 56.

For this particular initiative, Lost On You has been working since 2020 with Stree Child (Spain) on the project ‘Schools For Tomorrow’. Since then, the label has released 18 EPs and one compilation, organized a series of charity events at the famous REX club in Paris with Thomas Schumacher and Noir, and hosted an online fundraiser with Beatport with renowned artists playing live in order to raise money for the cause. Miss Monique, Nakadia, Blancah, Spartaque, Balthazar and Jackrock, Rafael Cerato, Lexer, Florian Kruse, D-Formation, Citizen Kain, Marc DePulse, Marcus Meinhardt, Jiggler, and many others have been a part of this ongoing mission.
