Louie Vega is set to perform an extended solo set in London for the first time this spring. Taking place on Friday, April 10th, 2026, the event will run from 8 PM to 2 AM at HERE at Outernet. The night is presented by Nuyorican Soul, Vega’s collaborative project with Masters At Work partner Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez.
A Grammy winner and founding member of Masters At Work and the Elements Of Life band, Louie Vega is widely recognized as one of global dance music’s most influential figures. Raised in the Bronx, he was DJing legendary New York clubs before he was old enough to enter them. Over the decades, he has worked with artists like George Clinton, Madonna, Luther Vandross, Donna Summer, George Benson, Jamiroquai, Robert Glasper, and Bebe Winans, while continuing to tour internationally and evolve his sound across house, jazz, soul, Latin, disco, and Afro-influenced styles.
In 2023, Vega released a remix EP for ‘All My Love’, his 2022 single with Robyn, featuring edits by Honey Dijon, Dam Swindle, KDA, and himself. He also teamed up with Wax Poetics for an exclusive auction featuring rare records, rotary mixers, and personal fashion items. In a 2024 interview, he confirmed that new Masters At Work and Nuyorican Soul music is currently in development.
