Chicago-based electronic music duo Louis The Child has announced the release of their new album, ‘The Sun Comes Up,’ to be out on September 20th, 2024 via Interscope Records. Also, they’ve recently unveiled their latest single,  ‘Make You Mine,’ a collaboration with fellow Chicago native Whethan and featuring the vocals of Hayley May.

‘Make You Mine’ is a sun-soaked house track that showcases the duo’s talent for crafting infectious, feel-good music. The song’s pulsating rhythm and euphoric synths provide a backdrop for May’s soulful vocals.

The album’s creation process has been a nostalgic journey for Louis The Child, reuniting them with long-time friend and collaborator Whethan. “We’ve known Whethan for almost 10 years now and came up around the same time in Chicago,” the duo shared. “He’s someone we look at as a brother, and getting to release another song with him is really special.”

As excitement builds for ‘The Sun Comes Up,’ Louis The Child is preparing to embark on their ‘A Day In the Sun’ tour—a series of outdoor daytime shows starting in September. These events promise to be a celebration of music and community, featuring a diverse lineup of special guests. Tickets are available here.
