LP Giobbi is set to celebrate Women’s History Month this March 2025 with a special four-part release series on her Yes Yes Yes imprint. The Austin-based producer and multi-instrumentalist, known for her dedication to empowering women in the music industry, continues her mission by spotlighting female and gender-expansive artists through these weekly releases.
“For Women’s History Month, I’m honored to shine a light on the amazing female artists and producers on Yes Yes Yes,” says LP Giobbi. “From techno to dreamy pop and everything in between, we have women from all over the world bringing their perspectives and sounds to life”
Joining her for this series are Philou, Alex Golden, and DJ Minx, each presenting a distinctive electronic release. Visually, the four records share a unified artwork motif that connects them into a cohesive celebration of female artistry.
The series started on March 7th with Philou’s ‘Acid Martini’, a follow-up to her October 2024 debut on the label. The track delivers a deep club groove with expressive synthwork and narrative sampling. On March 14th, Alex Golden made her Yes Yes Yes debut with ‘Tisno Twist’, a nod to Croatia’s vibrant festival scene.
Up next, LP Giobbi steps in on March 21st with ‘Galt’, a tribute to composer Galt MacDermot, showcasing jazzy piano elements at the core of her sound. Closing the series on March 28th, Detroit house and techno legend DJ Minx presents ‘Forget’, a high-energy techno roller.
