Through his new label, Rare Affair, Luca Musto returns with ‘Restless’, a new EP that combines rhythms of slow house, downtempo, electronica, and a bit of hip hop. This brand new platform will provide the ability to publish music more freely and more frequently in the future.
The artist describes this release as ‘a rhythmic reminder to carry on through tough times’. It contains two tracks that contrast each other in tempo and mood. The first, ‘Restless’, provides euphonic evidence that energizes the creative mind; while ‘Priscilo’ is a slow-burner that unfurls without haste.
‘Rare Affair is my personal groove garage, a playground for delivering vibes to the people. The philosophy is, that every release shall be outstanding in its own way, without compromises, without focusing on what’s going on in the scene or following any rules here‘, says Luca about his label. ‘I want to play my own game like I always did, but this imprint surely gives me the freedom of dropping unique material now. So unique, that it’s rare to find nowadays, where – to me – lots of stuff follows some unison or at least follows some kind of path. The affair with my music eventually takes place in the listener’s mind then. One can feel it. Or not. It’s on people to judge’, he concludes.
