Australian producer Luke Alessi returns to DJ Tennis’ Life and Death imprint with his new EP ‘After Five.’
The release blends different musical eras, combining elements of 1920s speakeasy atmosphere with 1970s funk and disco rhythms. It features looping patterns and textured sounds similar to Barry White’s style, delivering a sound that’s refined, sensual, and energetic.
The EP showcases Alessi’s signature sound while introducing fresh dimensions through remixes from producers Pablo Bozzi and Aldonna. Bozzi’s remix adds Italo influence, while Aldonna’s take on ‘Day Dreams of Beaches’ blends house, progressive, and trance with 90s/2000s electronic sounds.
