Madonna has confirmed a new album titled ‘Confessions II’, signaling a return to the sound and creative partnership behind her 2005 release ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’.
The announcement follows a series of updates across her platforms. The artist cleared her Instagram and changed her bio to a lyric from ‘Hung Up’, while her official website revealed the new album title and artwork. She later shared a post confirming both the project and its July 3rd, 2026, release date.
The record sees Madonna reunite with producer Stuart Price, also known as Jacques Lu Cont, who worked on the original 2005 album. She had previously hinted at the collaboration in 2024 through studio footage, before confirming her return to Warner Records.
‘Confessions II’ will be Madonna’s first studio album since 2019’s ‘Madame X’. In the years since, she has released remix compilations including ‘Finally Enough Love’ and ‘Veronica Electronica’.
