Madonna has highlighted Brazilian DJ and producer Ella De Vuono by sharing two Instagram Stories. The clips show De Vuono performing her track ‘Provoke’, which includes excerpts from one of Madonna’s well-known speeches.
Active for twenty years, De Vuono has built a profile through a flexible approach to house music that blends deep, disco, minimal, afro, and classic elements. She has performed at Rock in Rio, Warung, Laroc, Sisyphos, and Hive, and became the first woman to hold a residency at São Paulo’s Carlos Capslock.
Support from established names has followed her throughout her career. Fatboy Slim once reposted a video of her performance on his Instagram Stories, while The Blessed Madonna shared a carousel featuring both artists. Madonna’s recent attention adds to this ongoing recognition.
De Vuono has also earned national titles, including Desafio DJ Brasil in 2012 and Burn Residency in 2019, while teaching for more than eleven years. She also runs her own label, Diversall Music, which focuses on LGBTQIAPN+ talent and diversity-centered electronic music.
Following Madonna’s posts, De Vuono saw a surge in global visibility with new followers, direct messages, and increased engagement, along with renewed interest in her studio work, such as her upcoming EP ‘Affair’ on Tropicana Records.
