Magit Cacoon teamed up with Alphadog for their debut collaboration, ‘Bad Habit,’ released on Renaissance Records.
‘Bad Habit’ is a creative tour-de-force that blends elements of techno, melodic, breaks, and hip-house, making it an ideal track for peak-time sets. Demonstrating their attention to detail, Magit Cacoon and Alphadog have also released a ‘voxless’ version of the track.
Magit Cacoon is no stranger to Renaissance Records, having previously impressed with her rework of Argy’s ‘Power of Detachment’ in 2021 and her ‘Send Return’ EP in 2023, which featured the Ivory Re-Phone Remix. Her discography, which includes over 150 production credits, spans leading labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Ipso, Watergate, Knee Deep In Sound, Selador, and Sincopat, as well as her own label, Mago Music.
Known for his releases on Diynamic, Kinetika, Zamna, and Maccabi, Alphadog has garnered support from industry heavyweights like Solomun, Tale Of Us, Adriatique, Artbat, Âme, Innellea, Korolova, and Kevin de Vries.
