Malóne shares his favorite tracks of the moment

Malóne is a Cuban-born DJ/Producer from Miami who has been coming through the underground house music scene as of late. The artist has released originals & remixes on labels such as Saved, Abracadabra, Nervous, Insomniac, and many more underground imprints.

Malóne’s newest and biggest project has been the launch of his own label/event series brand Hurry Up Slowly, based out of Miami. The label has immediately established itself as one of the scenes fastest growing / most successful afro house labels in the entire industry in its first year since being launched.

To celebrate the drop of Malóne’s new single, ‘Late At Night’, the artist shares his favorite tracks of the moment:

“I always like to take everyone through some sort of journey in my sets whether it’s a 1-2 hour festival set or a 4+ hour club set… Anyone these days can just bang it out and play peak-hour tracks b2b. I really enjoy building the vibe and tension in the rooms where I play. The music flows better… And by the time you get to the peak hour stuff, the crowd is more than ready for it. I want to share the Top 10 tracks I’m feeling the most at the moment in the same fashion.” Malóne

1. Floorplay, Dilby, Freedy Be – Lovely Day

“This has been one of my favorite opening tracks in all my sets as of late, especially my bigger crowd sets. It’s a perfect reset track with a massive intro that captures all the attention in the room and really resets the vibe and allows me to go in any direction I’m feeling that night. Dilby is also one of my favorite producers in the entire industry.”

2. Lizwi, Aaron Sevilla, dbasser – Tobelani (Band&Dos Remix)

“Some of my favorite AfroHouse producers in the entire industry. Band&Dos are one of the most consistent artists. You can always count on them to deliver something proper, and for their tracks to work really well in any setting.”

3. Malóne ft. Hannah Boleyn – Late At Night

“One of the most capturing moments in all my sets. The big break with the vocals & growling synths really grab the energy of the room every single time. Very humbled by the support and feedback on my last release of 2022.”

4. Maxi Meraki – Dare Your Move

Maxi is one of the best producers in the game. I tell him all the time, he has the best-sounding pianos I’ve ever heard. This track is the track that at the end of the night always gets a majority of the IG story tags. No doubt one of the strongest tracks in my sets. Very excited to be remixing one of his new tracks coming soon in Jan 2023. “

5. Calussa & Malóne – Sinfonia (Unreleased)

“An absolute weapon that’s coming in 2023, that’s all I’ll say about that! lol”

6. AMEME, Kosmo Kint – Never Forget

“One of if not the most powerful track in my sets whenever it’s played. This track is WILD!”

7. Roberth Grob – The Drummer

“When you hear this, you know things are starting to get pretty serious… haha!”

8. Enanitos Verdes – Lamento Boliviano (Kofla Edit)

“Always the most requested track ID after all my sets. Keep a lookout for Kofla, should have a massive 2023!”

9. Sam Holland – The System

“Super producer Sam Holland delivered big with this track! Undeniable groove and energy…”

10. Banho de Folhas (Maz (BR) Remix)

“My favorite record of 2022! The ultimate vibe/closing track.”
