Mark Pritchard and Thom Yorke have announced a special cinematic premiere for their upcoming collaborative album, ‘Tall Tales’, set to take place on May 8th, 2025 across select cinemas worldwide.
Described as a “visual experience”, the film has reportedly been three years in the making and will be screened for one night only in nearly 50 cinemas across the UK, US, Australia, and New Zealand – including nine locations in London. Additional cities will be announced soon.
Directed by Jonathan Zawada – who also created the visuals for the album’s lead single, ‘This Conversation is Missing Your Voice’ – the film positions him as “an effective third member of the group”, according to a statement. At select screenings, attendees will have access to a limited-edition ‘Tall Tales’ zine, designed by Zawada and inspired by Rodin’s The Thinker.
The album ‘Tall Tales’ will be released on May 9th via Warp Records. Pre-order here.
