Munich-based DJ and producer Markus Mehta just presented his latest contribution to the EG’s mix series with EG.1004, available now on SoundCloud and Mixcloud.

Drawing inspiration from the contemporary house music landscape, this compilation features works by DJ Deep, Qubiko, Christian AB, Seb Zito, Archie Hamilton, Tenesha The Wordsmith, Francis De Simone, Avision, Masaki Morii, Huxley, No Emotion, Soundstream, while also introducing Mehta’s latest single, ‘Sunshine Everyday.’

“I put this mix together in my studio, inspired by the energy and direction house music is taking right now — fresh, vibrant, and uplifting,” says Markus Mehta. “While recording, I couldn’t help but feel a connection to the vibe of New York’s house scene from back in the day. I’ve included my new track, ‘Sunshine Everyday,’ along with others that bring good energy and positive vibes. If you need a boost to get through the day, this mix should do the trick.”

A key figure in underground dance music, Mehta emerged from Munich’s electronic scene. His style fuses deep house and techno, influenced by Chicago, New York, Detroit, and Berlin sounds. His trajectory includes performances at venues such as Berghain and Cocoon, alongside extensive tours across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Mehta’s breakthrough track ‘Chaos Theory,’ released on Kling Klong Records, garnered support from Richie Hawtin and Carl Cox. This success has led to releases on labels including Brise, Under No Illusion, and Subjekt. Currently, Mehta channels his creative vision through Mehta Audio, which recently unveiled his latest track ‘Sunshine Everyday.’  Grab your copy here.
