Marlon Hoffstadt has joined forces with rising artist Peter Xan on a new collaboration titled ‘Hold You Close’. Out now via Capitol Records, the single was released in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3.

A staple in Hoffstadt’s sets throughout 2025, the track blends relentless club rhythms and Peter Xan’s rapid-fire vocals with ethereal breakdowns and a closing spoken word passage. Known for pioneering the Afrogrunge sound, Xan has performed the track live alongside Hoffstadt at key shows, including recent pop-ups in Los Angeles and New York, and a takeover at The Warehouse Project in the UK.

The accompanying visualizer captures the track’s onstage momentum and crowd energy. Its release comes on the heels of a high-profile run for Hoffstadt, who closed out ADE 2025 with a sold-out event featuring surprise B2Bs with VTSS, cloudy, MALUGI, Armin van Buuren, and others.

Hoffstadt debuted in the U.S. at EDC Las Vegas this year, followed by HARD Summer and Lollapalooza Chicago. Recent releases include a Calvin Harris and Jessie Reyez ‘Ocean‘ remix and his Empire of the Sun ‘Walking On A Dream’ version on the ‘Walking On A Dream’ (Reimagined) EP.

Peter Xan fuses alt-rock, punk, and Afro influences. His latest EP ‘Empty Space’ features ‘For The Weekend’ and follows 2023’s ‘GOD SAVE THE KING’, produced with Dan Carey and Grian Chatten. He’s played All Points East, The Great Escape, and Somerset House, and toured with The Libertines.
