Marvin & Guy share their new ‘Migration’ EP

It’s their first release in two years.

Italian artists Marvin & Guy have unveiled their new 6-track EP entitled ‘Migration’. This is the first work they have published in almost two years and is being released through the German label Permanent Vacation.

‘Migrating means moving, understanding when a territory is no longer hospitable, and finding new means of life. In this specific case it means new inspirations, new ideas, exploring new sounds,’ explains the pair. ‘M&G was born from a synergy between two creative minds, more in sounds than in technique that after several years on a stage, decided to initiate a transition towards a purer, more ancient form of sound. To do this, we have left on the bench all the dogmas of beloved dance music and focused more on playing and having fun with synths and drum machines to create a completely analog session like the ones made 40 years ago.’

‘Migration’ is the result of these improvisations recorded in real-time to later receive intense post-production and editing.

Marvin & Guy’s ‘Migration’ is out now via Permanent Vacation. Listen to it below, and grab your copy here.
