LIDO Festival has revealed Massive Attack as their final headliner, marking their return to London’s festival scene. The Bristol band will perform at Victoria Park on June 6th, 2025.
The 10-day festival features a diverse lineup, with each headliner—Massive Attack, Jamie xx, OUTBREAK Fest, Charli XCX, and London Grammar—curating their own day of programming. The Massive Attack day features Air, FORENSICS, Tirzah, and more to be announced.
Massive Attack’s performance will make history as London’s first completely battery-powered festival show. Powered by Ecotricity, this event will showcase the band’s renowned audiovisual spectacle, featuring collaborative works from Robert Del Naja, United Visual Artists, and Adam Curtis.
The innovative approach has garnered widespread acclaim, with Robert Del Naja highlighting its significance: “This fusion of art and science demonstrates how we can tackle our greatest challenges. LIDO’s adoption of ACT 1.5’s technologies sets a new standard for clean production, benefiting both festival-goers and local communities.” This sentiment is echoed by AEG’s Jim King, who views this green initiative as a crucial stepping stone toward industry-wide sustainability.
