For its debut, he will be releasing an EP with the brand’s name.
German DJ and producer Matthias Meyer have taken a new step in his career with the release of a record label called Strangely Enough. The platform will be destined to showcase various sound explorations while launching special collaborations with some of his favorite producers, whose names will be announced soon.
“The label allows me to explore different realms of production with added freedom,’ Matthias says. ‘In my DJ sets, you find lots of different elements, from deep house to breakbeat, hip hop to trance. I want to include these aspects in my productions going forward. Unique music but still deep, with lots of energy”, says Meyer.
‘Strangely Enough’ is also the name of the first EP published on the label, through which the artist provides a glimpse into his varied musical palette. It’s comprised of 2 tracks and it’s now available on vinyl and digital. Grab your copy here.
