Mayan Warrior and L.A.-based event collective Stranger Than; have come together to announce their Mayan Warrior Los Angeles Halloween event. The celebration will take place this October 28th, 2023 at Grand Park, the location of MW’s first event on the West Coast.
The Mayan Warrior Los Angeles Halloween event is set to be the brand’s last official event ever, following the art car was tragically destroyed in a fire earlier this year. The event will pay tribute to Mayan Warrior’s legacy and serve as a fundraiser as well.
Hailing from Mexico City, Mayan Warrior grew from a renegade Burning Man Art Car and Soundcamp to one of electronic music’s most successful touring brands, all with unannounced lineups showcasing a mix of native Mexican and global underground talent. Fusing ancient culture and cutting-edge technology, the Mayan Warrior team built a custom art car resemblant of a supernatural Mayan being, complete with a DJ booth, lasers, and a cutting-edge sound system.
