Michael Bibi has released his latest single, ‘Mobile Groove’, via ELOVATE. Built around the instantly recognizable ringtone of the classic Nokia 3310, the track combines rolling grooves, hypnotic percussion, and the artist’s signature club-focused production into a playful, nostalgia-driven cut that has become one of his most requested IDs in recent months.
According to Bibi, the idea came after his brother sent him a video featuring the iconic phone sound. “It got stuck in my head for days, so I threw it into a track just for fun and sent it back to him,” he explains.
The release arrives during another busy Ibiza season for Solid Grooves at DC10, where the collective recently introduced a no-smartphone policy aimed at encouraging clubbers to reconnect with the dancefloor and the music. That spirit also runs through ‘Mobile Groove’, transforming a familiar notification sound into a track built for shared moments on the dancefloor rather than digital distractions.
