Kater Blau resident Mira has unveiled the release of a staggering compilation titled ’43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch’. Originally, ’43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch’ is an event series that also serves as Mira’s much anticipated birthday celebrations, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the artist decided to celebrate by releasing a 44-track record.
The compilation will be split into two sections: Heinz Hopper and Acidbogen. These reflect the two floors of Kater Blau, each showcasing its own special flavor and sound, and the record is programmed in the same way Mira would schedule the artists across the two floors for her birthday.
‘This year ‘43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch’ will be a compilation of some of the amazing artists from the past ten years, and even some of the new faces I would have booked this year. In a way, it’s the perfect souvenir of all the nights we’ve had so far, and an idea of what to look forward to in all the nights to come at Kater Blau somewhere in the future’, says Mira about the release.
