MKL, the 23-year-old singer/songwriter, has just released her latest EP ‘You & Me’ through Bayacou Records.
The EP’s title track, ‘You & Me,’ combines commercial appeal with pop sensibilities. Its hypnotic rhythm and seductive undertones build to a catchy refrain, highlighting the artist’s songwriting talent.
MKL’s versatility shines in the follow-up single ‘333.’ This electronic piece blends house music with R&B influences, creating a sultry and distinct sound.
Steeped in the rich musical heritage of South Louisiana, MKL refined her skills through church choir performances and local gigs. Now, she’s collaborating with EZEL—a producer and label head—to further her career. This partnership aims to introduce MKL’s music to a wider audience.
