Brother duo formed by producer Jonas Rathsman and singer Franz Novotny, together known as Modern Tales, have recently released their debut album titled ‘Stars Align’ under the Rose Avenue imprint of RÜFÜS DU SOL.
Nurtured in the enchanting surroundings and misty forests of Sweden’s West Coast, Modern Tales’ music offers a dreamy, nuanced perspective of the human experience, and is a significant artistic and personal milestone for the artists. The brothers crafted the album in just two weeks, driven by the desire to find light in the darkness of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In their own words, “This album holds a special place in our hearts as it encompasses cherished moments that have shaped our journey as Modern Tales. It all began when we, as brothers, made the decision to create music together, and that moment sparked the birth of our musical collaboration.
