German artist Monolink kicks off 2025 with ‘Mesmerized,’ a single released via Embassy One, marking his first original production of the year.
‘Mesmerized’ showcases Monolink’s talent for crafting immersive experiences, combining pulsating rhythms and atmospheric synthesizers with emotional vocals.
Reflecting on the creative process, he shares: “‘Mesmerized’ is a song about the gravity of human connection. It’s about vulnerability, surrender, and the fear of stepping into the unknown. It was the first song I wrote when we started working on my new album and it somehow turned into the sonic journey that it is now.”
The release is accompanied by a visual narrative directed by Nicola von Leffern. The music video, featuring performances by Jana McKinnon and Simon Frühwirth, tells a story of love and conflict against the dramatic backdrop of Stromboli’s volcanic landscape.
