Record producer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Monolink has just released his new single, ‘Light Up My Dark,’ through the record label Embassy One.
‘Light Up My Dark’ showcases the German’s artist sound design, which is both thought-provoking and beautifully dynamic. The single takes listeners on a hypnotic journey filled with longing, minor tones, and uplifting juxtaposed synthesizers. Steffen’s melancholic lyrics are balanced by hopeful melodies and driving organic percussion.
Alongside the single, an official music video has been released. Filmed in a lit rural courtyard in Melides, Portugal, the video features Monolink himself.
Monolink, a hybrid solo act, merges classical training with a rich instrumental background. Known for his dynamic performances in melodic techno, he blends song narratives with electronic rhythms. Organic chords mix with synthetic pads, hypnotic bass lines with emotional vocals, and passionate performance with mental stimulation.
