Australian DJ and producer Monster Machine has unveiled her new single ‘Hopeless’, a high-impact cut that continues the buildup to her debut EP ‘EXALTED’.

The cut dives into drum and bass territory, delivering emotionally charged energy driven by crushing beats and fierce neurofunk textures. ‘Hopeless’ is my take on a gnarly drum and bass tune about heartbreak and longing, never fulfilled,” says Monster Machine. “Inspired heavily by Basstripper and his punchy sound, whilst embodying the heavy neuro funk essence of a Noisia classic.”

Following two earlier singles which highlighted her stylistic range, ‘Hopeless’ leans into darker influences, drawing from artists like RL Grime, Nitepunk, and Knock2. Her fusion of trap, 140, and drum and bass signals a bold sonic direction rooted in underground energy.
