MoodHay has landed on Lips & Rhythm Records, the San Francisco-based label, which also hosts a weekly radio program, with his latest full-length ‘Cosmic Romance’.
This is the first LP ever from the artist, and is a unique blend of funk, R&B, and classic house, showcasing lush synth lines, delightful grooves, and soulful moments that come together throughout the six-track record in a heartfelt love letter.
‘Cosmic Romance’ was written at MoodHay’s hilltop studio, a secluded place that provided the comfort and mystique required to breathe life into the album. Except for the sax on ‘Melodies’, the producer recorded and sang on every track, blossoming as a songwriter in the process.
