Paxahau has announced the complete 2026 lineup for Detroit’s Movement Festival, set to return to Hart Plaza over Memorial Day Weekend on May 23rd to 25th. The announcement marks a milestone year, as Paxahau celebrates 20 years at the helm of the iconic techno gathering.
Newly confirmed headliners Dom Dolla and Sara Landry join previously announced Carl Cox, leading a roster of over 115 acts. The lineup includes Richie Hawtin, Barry Can’t Swim, The Dare, 999999999, Danny Brown, Carl Craig B2B Cajmere, Mochakk, Green Velvet, Hot Since 82, and The Martinez Brothers B2B Eddie Fowlkes.
Special collaborations and back-to-back sets are again central to this year’s programming. Highlights include Boys Noize B2B MCR-T, Zack Fox B2B Jyoty, Ellen Allien B2B DJ Stingray 313, DJ Heartstring B2B X Club., and Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald as Borderland (Live). Kevin Saunderson returns with his E-Dancer alias, performing alongside Dantiez, while Anané and Louie Vega bring their Ritual project to the riverfront.
The festival also spotlights Detroit talent, including DJ Minx, Stacey Pullen, DJ Godfather, Audion (Live), Kyle Hall B2B Byron the Aquarius, Terrence Dixon (Live), PEEZY, and poet jessica Care moore, who will appear ahead of Carl Craig’s 69 set.
“Movement is one of my favorite festivals,” said Dom Dolla. “The history, the scope of performers and range of people coming together from multiple generations and backgrounds, make it one of the most meaningful events to play.” Sara Landry added: “The energy in this city is undeniable – I’m always thrilled to come back to the birthplace of techno.”
