Ecuadorian musician Nicola Cruz released a four-track EP titled ‘Fuego Nuevo’ on Optimo Music Digital Danceforce. In this release, the artist explores rhythmic patterns inspired by Afro-Cuban percussion, cavernous acoustics, and distortion.
‘Percussion has always been my main voice, so I try to rediscover it every time, submitting to different rituals when composing music. (…) In a way, percussion has always represented fire for me, which was the script to follow for this EP ‘, explained Nicola.
