Kanykei and Niconé have joined forces to release their collaborative EP ‘Sun Reign,’ which is now available through the KATERMUKKE label.
The ‘Sun Reign’ EP showcases the duo’s synergy through two distinct tracks. The title track blends a deep Reese bass with bright arpeggios and lush chords, creating a radiant, multifaceted soundscape. In contrast, ‘Tipsy Owl’ offers a darker tone, driven by powerful basslines, intricate percussion, and warm, euphoric synth chords.
Niconé, a Berlin electronic music veteran, brings versatility to the project, blending house, techno, and minimal styles for both festivals and clubs. Kanykei, a rising New York talent, adds a fresh perspective as co-founder of Aionia events and creator of the ‘Track ID, please!’ podcast.
