Celebrating musical legacy and innovation, Nightmares on Wax, the project led by George Evelyn, has released a captivating mini-documentary. Titled ‘Carboot Soul Live at The Royal Festival Hall,’ this intimate film offers viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the meticulous preparation for two London performances.
These April concerts marked the 25th anniversary of Nightmares on Wax’s influential album ‘Carboot Soul.’ Collaborating with the esteemed Outlook Orchestra, the performances reimagined the album’s classic tracks, infusing them with fresh energy and depth.
Adding to this audiovisual treat, Warp Records, Nightmares on Wax’s label, unveiled a deluxe reissue of ‘Carboot Soul’ in May. This special edition includes a bonus, a previously unreleased track featuring the iconic hip-hop collective De La Soul.
