In recent months, the Parisian DJ and producer has toured internationally while delivering remixes for artists including Lenny Kravitz, Bedouin, and Röyksopp. He launched his own imprint, Paranormal, and released music on the iconic French label Kitsuné. This July, he unveiled ‘Give It To Me 2025’, a collaboration withAdriatique, Nelly Furtado, and Timbaland via Interscope, followed by a new EP on Solomun’s Diynamic in August and a remix for Blond:ish and Black Circle.
In this conversation, Notre Dame opens up about the evolution of Paranormal, signing Luch for ‘Siren Flicker’, collaborating with Bob Moses on ‘On My Mind’, and building a cohesive artistic vision for 2026.
EG: Hi, Notre Dame! Welcome back to EG. It’s a pleasure to have you here with us, as always. How have you been doing?
Notre Dame: I’ve been good, thank you. It’s been a very intense period creatively and personally, but in the best possible way. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the studio, shaping the identity of the label, and preparing new releases. It feels like everything is aligning right now.
EG: Last time we spoke, you were just about to unveil the launch of your own imprint, Paranormal. Congratulations! How have things gone since the launch?
Notre Dame: Thank you. Launching Paranormal has been one of the most meaningful steps in my career. It started as a platform to release music that didn’t quite fit traditional frameworks, but it quickly evolved into a broader creative universe. The response has been incredible, both from listeners and from artists who resonate with its aesthetic and philosophy.
EG: So far, Paranormal has been a home to your own creations, but now Luch has become the first new artist signed to the label with ‘Siren Flicker’. What was it about Luch and this particular single that caught your attention?
Notre Dame: There was something immediate and emotional in Luch’s sound. ‘Siren Flicker’ has this hypnotic tension and is very club-oriented. When I first heard it, I could instantly imagine it on a late-night dancefloor. Beyond the track itself, I felt a strong artistic sincerity in his work, which is essential for Paranormal.
EG: What has the reception of ‘Siren Flicker’ been like so far? What can you tell us about this particular release?
Notre Dame: The reception has been really encouraging. DJs have been supporting it early, and the feedback from the dancefloor has been amazing. The track sits in that emotional space between darkness and euphoria, which is something I’m deeply drawn to. It’s both introspective and powerful, which makes it special.
“I’d love to see more authenticity and artistic risk-taking, and less focus on formulas and short-term trends”
EG: What does the inclusion of a new artist mean for the label? What can we expect from Paranormal for 2026? Is there anything you can anticipate on the front?
Notre Dame: Opening the label to other artists is a natural evolution. Paranormal isn’t just about my music; it’s about building a world and curating a shared vision. In 2026, we plan to introduce new artists, expand the visual identity, and develop immersive experiences around the label. The idea is to blur the line between music, art, and storytelling.
EG: By the way, congratulations on the release of ‘On My Mind’, your new collaboration with Bob Moses! You must be stoked to have this one out. What can you tell us about this one? How did this collab come to be?
Notre Dame: Thank you, I’m really happy about this one. I’ve admired Bob Moses for a long time; their songwriting and emotional depth resonate with me. The collaboration happened very organically. We connected creatively, and the track came together in a very fluid way.

EG: On to a broader subject… What would you like to accomplish as an artist this year? Is there something “tangible” that you’d like to go for?
Notre Dame: This year, I want to keep building a cohesive artistic identity across everything I do: music, visuals, live experiences, and the label. Tangibly, I’m working on releases that push my sound forward and on creating shows that feel more immersive and emotional rather than performance-based.
EG: How do you feel about the current state of the scene as a whole? What would you like to see more and less of?
Notre Dame: The scene is evolving rapidly, which is exciting. There’s more openness to genre blending. I’d love to see more authenticity and artistic risk-taking, and less focus on formulas and short-term trends. The moments that stay with people are always the ones that feel honest.
“The idea is to blur the line between music, art, and storytelling”
EG: What’s next for Notre Dame? Where can your fans catch you next?
Notre Dame: A lot is coming in the next months: new music, new signings on Paranormal, and some special shows I’m really excited about. I’ll be touring across the US, Europe, and beyond, and fans can expect sets that reflect the evolving identity of the project.
EG: Thank you so much for your time, Notre Dame! We wish you all the best in the future. Take care!
Notre Dame: Thank you, it’s always a pleasure. I appreciate the support and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
