Old Sedan has released his debut solo EP, ‘With Love My Dear,’ scheduled via Partyfine. The project marks the first individual outing for the artist, also known as Bastien Francoulon.
Produced entirely in his Belleville studio, the EP serves as a six-track exploration of urban themes. The record was mixed by French producer Yuksek, signaling a collaborative effort between the artist and the label founder based on a shared aesthetic for emotive electronic music.
The collection blends influences from 1990s house with contemporary synth-pop elements. Throughout the release, Old Sedan balances club-ready rhythms with more melodic, introspective passages. The arrangements prioritize organic textures and synthesized layers to reflect the shifting energy of city environments.
Bastien Francoulon has established his presence in the French electronic scene under the Old Sedan moniker, focusing on a production style that bridges the gap between dancefloor utility and home listening. ‘With Love My Dear’ solidifies his relationship with Partyfine, a label recognized for its curated approach to modern disco and house.
