Following up on the drop of Matthias Tanzmann’s reinterpretation of ‘Bad Boys’, Rony Seikaly has just unveiled a brand new remix of ‘Samba Drone’, courtesy of Paco Osuna. The new drop is already available to stream and purchase across all major digital platforms via Rony’s own Stride imprint.
‘Samba Drone’ originally stems from Seikaly’s ‘Moonwalk’ double LP, and now Paco Osuna is in charge of taking it into tech-house territory by supercharging the original bassline while sprinkling chopped vocal effects and melodic textures for a most flavorful outing.
“When Rony asked me to do the remix I didn’t hesitate for a second. He is a very special person, someone I admire a lot. I met him in Miami through my Music On family and our relationship has always been very cordial and respectful. For me it is very important to have a connection with the person I am going to do a rework for, I have always prioritized the relationship and Rony is a gentleman and a great artist.” says Paco Osuna about the new remix.
